Is my child too young for the Salt Room? Halotherapy is safe for all ages from newborn babies to older adults.
What can my child do while in the Salt Room? During kid friendly salt sessions children are free to be children meaning they are not expected to sit still and be quiet. They are free to socialize, play with the provided toys, bury themselves in the salt sand, and even make a fort with our provided blankets. We just ask that the kids be supervised by an adult.
Can my child bring their own toys from home? Sure, as long as they are not deemed as an electronic device.
What are the benefits of Salt Therapy for my kids? Halotherapy is proven to increase respiratory function. Benefiting children with many issues including allergies, post illness congestion, asthma, or sinus inflammation. Halotherapy is also good to prevent illnesses in the future like the common cold.
Can I bring snacks and drinks into the Salt Room? Politely, no. However they are welcome to snack and drink in the lobby.
What if my child has a sensory issues? The floor in the Salt Room has the consistency of sand. For those sensitive, I'd advise to bring thick socks or be prepared to have them sit with you on a zero gravity chair provided by the spa.
How many kids can the Salt Room hold? Comfortably, 2-3 kids with adults.
